Volte Wetsuits Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Volte Wetsuits, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Whether you need a different size or the product didn’t meet your expectations, we offer hassle-free returns and exchanges to ensure you get the right fit and performance in the water.


Exchanges – One Free Size Swap

If your wetsuit doesn’t fit, we offer a one-time free size exchange to ensure you get the perfect fit.

How It Works

  1. Request an Exchange – Contact us within 30 days of your purchase date at admin@voltewetsuits.com to initiate your exchange.
  2. Fast Dispatch – We will ship the next size up or down (subject to availability) via Australia Post with tracking.
    • Requests made before 11 AM (AEST) will be shipped the same business day.
    • Requests made after 11 AM will be shipped the following business day.
  3. Hassle-Free Return – Your replacement wetsuit will include a pre-paid return bag, so you can send back the incorrect size at no cost.

Terms & Conditions

  • The free exchange service applies to the first size swap per item only. Additional exchanges may incur fees.
  • The wetsuit must be unused, unworn, and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact.
  • Exchanges are subject to inventory availability. If the requested size is unavailable, we will offer alternative solutions.
  • This policy applies to direct purchases from Volte Wetsuits only.

Returns

If you wish to return your purchase for a refund or store credit rather than an exchange, you may do so within 30 days of the purchase date.

Return Requirements

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact.
  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs on returns. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
  • Before sending your item(s) back, please email admin@voltewetsuits.com with your return request for instructions.
  • Returns are not accepted for custom or print-on-demand items due to their personalized nature.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email that your refund has been initiated.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment and may take 2–10 business days to reflect, depending on your payment provider.
  • Refunds are only applied to the cost of the product.
  • Original shipping costs and return shipping fees are non-refundable.

Store Credit

If you prefer store credit over a refund, we will issue a personal coupon code for the value of your returned item.

  • Only the cost of the product is eligible for store credit.
  • Shipping fees, handling charges, and any customs duties/taxes are not included in store credit.

Sale Items

Products purchased during promotional periods (e.g., EOFY or Black Friday sales) are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange unless there is a manufacturer defect.


Volte Universal Warranty

At Volte, we stand behind our craftsmanship. Our wetsuits are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.

What the Warranty Covers:

12-month warranty on all stitching
12-month warranty on gluing, taping, fluid seams, and materials

What the Warranty Does Not Cover:

✘ Normal wear and tear, including scratches, fading, and material degradation
✘ Damage caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship
✘ Use in rental, teaching, commercial, or instructional activities
✘ Damage from chlorine exposure (e.g., swimming pools)
✘ Wetsuits purchased second-hand or sold as factory seconds
✘ Shipping or return shipping costs
✘ Wetsuits repaired by third-party services

How to Proceed with a Warranty Claim

1. If purchased from an authorized Volte retailer:

  • Please contact the retailer directly for a replacement or store credit.

2. If purchased directly from VolteWetsuits.com.au:

  • Email us at admin@voltewetsuits.com with photos of the defective area(s).
  • If the claim is validated, we will provide you with an RMA# and instructions on whether to return or destroy the item.
  • Based on the claim, we will either replace, repair, or issue store credit for the item’s value.
  • Refunds are not offered for warranty claims.
